14/7/20: New venue information below!
For the past week the City of Fremantle has been inundated with LEGO fans for their LEGO Adventure Trail. They’re out of LEGO to give away, but the trail is still on! Collect the adventure trail map from the Fremantle Visitor Centre in Kings Square, follow the map to get stamps from the five participating stores, and return the completed map to the Visitor Centre to enter a draw to win one of three LEGO vouchers from Toyworld Fremantle – $300, $200 & $100 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize. The trail is only available to kids 10 and under.
It’s been great seeing so many families wandering the City on the hunt for their stamps, and come into the Library (where I work!) as well.
Well, the fun continues next week, with a special visit from WA’s own LEGO Masters Jackson & Alex!
On Thursday 16th July from 10am to 2pm, Jackson & Alex will be at Fremantle’s Victoria Hall to do a live build and take some photos with fans young and not so young! There will also be some displays from a few local LEGO fans, as well as a very special display – the incredible Gingerbread House built by Jackson and Alex in LEGO Masters Season 2 Episode 3!
You will now also need to register for a preferred session at the link above – the venue is indoors, so to comply with social distancing regulations we need to limit the numbers for each of the live build and photo sessions.
- Session 1: 10 am – 10:30 am: live build
- Session 1: 10:30 am – 10:45 am: photos

Social distancing measures will be in place, so if you’re not feeling well, please stay home.
I’ll be there all day manning one of the displays and promoting a couple of the library’s programs, so come down and say hi!
