This was unexpected! LEGO has officially announced a large scale vehicle with a twist – half the wheels! In a brand new collaboration with Harley-Davidson, they’ve announced 10269 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, and it looks amazing.
This looks seriously impressive. It’s over 30cm long and has had a lot of detail added in, especially in the shaping. It’s got that iconic Harley shaping, and comes with new solid-disc wheels, and also a chain!
This means that when the rear tyre is spun, the engine’s pistons will move up and down. There’s heaps more moveable parts, and it comes with a stand, so it can be displayed standing in all it’s glory.
There’s a lot to like in this set. Printed elements (as well as some stickered ones unfortunately), and that monster rear tyre!
There’s a bunch more photos, and the press release below, but wait, there’s more! To celebrate the release of the set, LEGO Master Builders released a massive life-sized build of the same bike. It’s made up of over 69,000 elements, and took a whopping 865 hours to build.
Ok, on to the remainder of the photos. What a set! I’m looking forward to getting my hands on this one.
