Official Announcement of 21330 Home Alone House

LEGO has announced the next inclusion to the LEGO Ideas lineup, with 21330 Home Alone House, originally submitted by adwind.

The set has 3,955 pieces, and will be available from 1st November, 2021. It will cost US $249.99 / DE €249.99 / UK £249.99 / AU $399.99.

Built in the style of a modular, with removable floors, this brownstone style building would look good in a Christmas display.

There’s plenty of detail in the build, and includes five minifigures – Kevin McCallister, the hero of our story, the burglars Harry and Marv, the neighbour old man Marley and Kev’s mum Kate.

It also comes with the burglar’s van and a treehouse.

There’s also a competition running! From the press release:

Recreating one of the world’s favourite Kevins and his family home in LEGO brick form inspired the LEGO Group to celebrate Kevins everywhere and launch a global search for the Kevin McCallister minifigure. To get the name trending again, the LEGO Group has launched a global search to find the Kevin McCallister LEGO minifigure all over the world. The search is taking place on LEGO.com/Home-Alone and in select LEGO stores giving fans the chance to win a $1000 LEGO voucher, as well as the LEGO Ideas Home Alone set.

You can get involved in the search for Kevins from 1st – 30th November through:

Hi, I bought this set on the 1st of November and have built it .It was ,in my humble opinion the most enjoyable set I have made and has amazing detail . It was interesting to make from the van to the tree and everything in between and was made even better by the detailed furniture inside and so many of the tricks young Kevin played on the Bandits.
I have built lots of items this year from Harry Potter to Liebherr and other technic and vehicles plus cute, pretty , space etc. but this set was so interesting and all of Kevins tricks worked. I’m in my late 70’s so watched the film first so I had an idea what to expect . Best set ever I love playing with it.
