The Glade Fort

This is one of those techniques I’ve always wanted to try myself, but have never had a go. The Glade Fort is an older build by Tirrell Brown, and uses the beautiful method of 1×2 bricks and round 1×1 bricks to make a curved wall. It appeared on my Flickr feed as a suggestion, and I had to post it!

The Glade Fort - Tirrell Brown

I’m really impressed by the wooden section of the towers – it’s made from reddish brown bad robot arms, and sticks! It’s extremely clever. It looks like it’s not clipped to the rest of the tower – instead sitting on cheese blocks, but it’s still very effective. Just the swamp by itself is stunning. That dark green is beautiful.
