Ok – good news and bad news. The good news is the new site is up, but the bad news is for some reason all the images are now dead. I’m trying to fix it, but it could take some time to figure out what’s going on. Here’s hoping I figure it out!
In the mean time, take a look around, and just imagine the images are there. Not counting the images, I’m pretty happy with the new site! I’d love some feedback, too, so leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts!
EDIT: Ok, I’ve figured out the problem and I thought I’d fill you all in. I used to use Weebly to create the site, and when I included images, I’d take the image’s url from the site and link to it as well. That way, this site would load faster for you, dear reader!
Well, I didn’t realise until too late that Weebly decided to upload it anyway, and change the source URL just for kicks. When I exported that version of the site over to this one, the images didn’t know what to point to.
unfortunately it’s not an easy thing to change by the looks of it, as it’s over 500 posts! So where to from here? Well, I’m looking into options, but if that plan fails, I’ll be slowly working my way through the review posts and manually replacing images myself. The rest will have to go without. I’m gutted, as it’s a lot of work ruined, but onwards and upwards from here. It’s a new site,
Bottom line, never use Weebly.
